General
In order to carry out the complete machining of workpieces on a lathe, there are machines whose acquisition is very costly and the programming is extremely expensive.
Our proposed solution aims to enable the following work to be carried out with this relatively simple additional device for turned parts:
- Cylinder bores
- Key Areas
- Groove Cut
- Centering
This supplement, called Fräsfix for short, can be easily retrofitted or upgraded on both conventional and cycle-controlled lathes. The device is defined as a tool. The milling fix is picked up on the Multifix holder or Para halter and operated manually via a frequency converter. The intermediate storage of turned parts, re-upgrading on a second machine, twice the time and a high acquisition value are unnecessary. Elaborate programming and an impaired working space are also eliminated by the use of the Fräsfix - Milling and Drilling unit for conventional and cycle-controlled lathes.
We are convinced that this innovative solution is particularly useful for craft manufacturing and repair shops, as well as for school and training workshops.
